1.6 lbs is a fantastic loss! As for journaling, it certainly does help. I'm in a nutritional and healthy eating class and the group leader said something that has completely changed my habits and the way I view a food journal. She said that it's a tool to plan what you eat, not record what you've already eaten. Mind = blown! I now plan my day in my food journal the night before. Of course you may have to adapt during the day and update, but then you have a plan to follow for the next day. Good luck!
