I had a full rest day from working out yesterday, which my body definitely needed. I have been working out every day since I started back up in July 14th. I would definitely like to see more of a weight drop, but trying to tell myself that the number on the scale is not the only determining factor that I am getting healthier and that results are more than just a number. I have been feeling much happier, and proud of myself for getting back on track. I'm slowly starting to get my strength back and have been making better choices with my eating habits. I'm not a huge believer in diets, not to day they have not worked in the past for short term results, but they are not sustainable for the long term. Everything in moderation, and eat as clean as you can but do not deprive yourself of cravings, because in my experience it just leads to over indulging once you finally give in to the craving.
If I crave a piece of cake that everyone else is eating, I will have a piece! I will have a smaller serving...I will eat it slowly... and enjoy it, so I don't deprive myself. I will reach my goal weight. I just need to be consistent. I have done it before, and I will do it again!
