It has been a bit of a relaxed week, with my hubby's birthday just passed, and my brother's birthday coming up. I have managed to stay under my daily calorie goal of 1200 calories, but have been consuming more carbs than I would like to and not enough protein. I have still been working out every day, and I honestly look forward to my workout so that is a very good sign to me that I am serious about getting back in shape. Nothing can get in my way except me. I've got to maintain this positive mindset because it is definitely serving me well. I have had sweets to celebrate events this week, and I haven't dwelled on it too much because as long as I am consuming in moderation and not over indulging, than those sweets to celebrate a loved one is ok, and I should not feel guilty about it.
I am proud of myself, coming up on a month now of my new mindset and routine.
I hope everyone else is feeling proud of their efforts this week. This is a journey, and everyone's is unique. If you feel you've had an off day, tomorrow is a new day to show up and be the best version of yourself. 😊
