Uninsured, suspended license drunk driving woman hit my car a couple of weeks ago. Received a quote from a body shop of 3,100.00. Hopefully my insurance company will agree and my uninsured motorist will cover these damages as I really want to keep my little 2001 red Ford Focus.
I'm off to they gym. My plan is to keep my eye on the ball this Friday and though the weekend ! TOWANDA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why are uninsured, drunk people still out and about driving drunk? I realize it is one of societies most pervasive problems, but it tends to get really personal when attack little 2001 red Focus's and their owners. I hope you are able to settle this successfully. Lisa, I could not see your journal yesterday because it was covered by a note from Google that they could not display that page. Did anyone else mention this problem? Have a really happy, healthy weekend, my friend!

Couldn't agree more with Pam! No insurance, drunk, and suspended license?! Attacking Lisa?! Lock them up! Hope you weren't too badly injured! What a pain in the arse!

They're getting stricter with this now. One woman drove drunk in Vermont recently and got a stiff sentence, one of her kids had enough sense to get the younger sibling out of the car at a store parking lot and the mother was very drunk and got arrested. Anyway, maybe you can sue her, but it is likely all her money has been given to bars and liquor stores. Hope it turns out well, go to court against this woman if you have too, drunk drivers are a menace to society...

Oh, Lisa so sorry this happened, but thank goodness you weren't hurt! Poor car. Hope you can get it fixed and back on the road in a big hurry! Hugs!
