Well scale hasn't moved either way, but I'm not surprised because even though I ate LC, I think I overate. Does anyone else do that? Sometimes it's hard to gauge when too much is too much. I overcompensate on LC food because I can't have the carbs I'm used to eating!

On a LC diet, there is no real calorie limit, so long as you eat High Fat with the LC. If you eat too much protein, 58% is converted to carbs in the liver, so while no blood sugar rise, you add to your glucose storage. But more importantly, you cannot look at each days weigh-in as the be all end all. Weight loss is not linear, there's not a set amount you lose each day, and diet the day before may/may not have a direct effect on the next morning's weigh-in. Look at weight loss as something over time with highs and low's, with a gradual trend downward. Make a diet plan and stick to it, without stressing over a day here or there. If you have no scale movement after two weeks, then look to make changes.

Thanks for all of the info! Very helpful to me. I did not know that about the protein conversion. You are right, As long as there is a gradual trend downwards. Thanks again.
