145 and holding steady.
I had a reality check with self this morning. I've lost 9 lbs in 3 weeks. More than I have lost in a LOOOONG time. I am actually thrilled when I keep it in perspective. I did get caught up in the first week of losing a pound a day. That is not sustainable-it's all water anyway. Now I am losing fat and it does not come off at that rate.
I know that some are concerned about the low cal intake. Through many years of observation and painful acceptance, my metabolism-due to hypothyroidism, age and general decreptitude stays dark anything over 800 cals per day. That's just how it works for me. I was thinking last night-shouldn't I be hungry? Someone commented that I was "starving myself" I am not hungry at all. I feel satisfied with my intake. I am also feeling more energetic, no bloat (which is a blessing) and able to concentrate better. That said, today I am striving to increase cals for the zig-zag effect. It's hard when you are eating mostly protein. I had a low fat fruit sweetened bran muffin for breakfast. Looking forward to eggplant parm for dinner. Not sure what lunch is----
