It is Sunday and all is well! I have lost a total of 10 pounds so far and it is just a week on Monday! Although yesterday was sort of a cheat day...I had this giant omelet with cheese, mushrooms, onions, green peppers and Hawaiian sausage in it...it was great but was burping like crazy later that evening so I didn't feel like eating. Had a couple of sticks of celery with cream cheese just before going to bed just cause I thought I should have something in my tummy. So I don't think 10 pounds in one week will be the norm! (But is it a fun start)Today I had some bullion this am and a slim jim thingy and of course coffee, cause I needed to go shopping have no eggs or other Atkins friendly food in the house!I do now so I am ready for the upcoming week!
It is still Sunday but I wanted to continue with what I ate. When my son and I finally went shopping we stopped at blazing steaks where i ordered steak and only salad...instead of rice with it. It was glorious! That is one thing about atkins...I don't feel deprived! I also made the crust-less quiche for the first time but without some of the spices (don't own many spices) but it came out great and tasted great too! I doubled the recipe so I could take leftovers to work! Yumm!
