gotta get ready for school
met with Dietician- long story short im ready to start removing unhelpful foods. First order of business is removing refined grains and processed whole grains. I can eat intact whole grains though like steel cut oats instead of instant. Ezekiel 4:9bread instead of sara lee whole grain.

steel cut oats are pretty good. throw In a scoop of flavored protein powder and some berries and you get all the flavor you need without any of the added sugars and it's pretty filling

Have you tried wheat berries? So, so tasty. 😋 They take a long time to cook, but worth it. They're also pretty amazing sprouted

Dazey- wheat berries are another name for wheat. they are wheat seeds 🙂

You are on the right road. Congratulations. You can do this. So glad you have a dietician to help out with identifying better choices.

I have oatmeal every morning, cut up a banana add that with some English walnuts and a dash of cinnamon yummy. steel cut

I did this a few years back and going cleaner was super helpful for me!

This is a great start, Dazey. You are very fortunate to have access to a Registered Dietician, and they should have been able to help you with the school lunches (menu is available online for the month); Eat This/Not That kind of thing. RD's also receive education on eating disorders, so I hope you've kept them apprised of not just the knee/inflammation, but also your ED worries. This is an amazing opportunity to get help. 💚
