After a couple of days of exercise my body is feeling it. I'm not so sore that I can't move or anything, just a little muscle soreness. But, it feels good to be getting back into the swing of things. I'm trying to make an effort to eat better too, and if it's not working, force myself to eat better. It's been a struggle, but every day I can do a little better. Right now I'm not really worrying too much about the numbers or how many carbs, fats, or proteins I'm eating, just more about what I'm eating and not reaching for junk. After only a few days of making some better eating choices, and not going to bed after gorging on junk, I already am feeling better, physically and mentally. The exercise has helped my mental health too.

Today is my rest day. Partially because I have to work late, and partially because this is my hubby's first work night of the week, so I figured it would be a good scheduled rest day since we have to have dinner earlier. I'm going to try my hardest to get out of bed to workout tomorrow morning, but we'll see how that goes. I've been sleeping horribly, so I don't know if I'll be able to get up, but I'll try.
