What a frustrating two weeks. I have increased my walking to 3.5 miles per day, kept up with the same diet I have been following for the past 6 months and I gained 2 pounds. Not sure what is happening or what steps to take next. I am doing the intermittent fasting (18/6) and thinking if I want to continue to lose more weight I may have to go down to one meal per day.

Remember you need to fuel your body! If your under eating your body goes into starvation mode, also could you be gaining muscle from walking more? Your journey is impressive and you’ve come a long way!

It's easy to go up & down by a pound or two, try not to stress (cortisol bad for fat loss, lol)! I have been reading a lot about walking in the fasted state...I typically fast from 530pm until 1030am and have been getting up with the sunrise (early am sunlight benefits) and doing a 7km hike. The hiking in a fasted state is supposed to burn fat better. I'm only one month in but think it is making a difference. Keep up the good work anyway!

Watching my stress levels has had the biggest weight loss impact for me. The optometrist put me on a watch list for glaucoma, so I reduced caffeine, increased exercise, and diligently practicing mindfulness in hopes of sleeping better.
