No. You may not like your weight gain or that you may not have made the best choices, but you do not hate yourself for this. Guess what? It's ok to be overweight, to feel insecure about it, to be really disappointed with how things fit and how you feel. But the good news is that a vast majority of us are here for the same reason! My story - I got on the scale one day and was 210 lbs - yikes! I screamed and jumped off, I beat myself up, I was disgusted with myself. So I didn't diet, but I did change my lifestyle and eating choices. I limited to 1200 calories per day and took responsibility for every single thing I put in my mouth. I lost 40 lbs, it was awesome. Then I got lazy, I ate poorly, stopped logging, veered away from my FS support, drank too much and in five months I put back on 20 lbs of that. OK so I was disappointed, but I didn't hate myself. I scolded myself and got my bit fat butt back on track. I've now lost 4.5 pounds my first week so woo-hoo for me! You will do the same thing. Kick yourself in the butt and take a step forward, and another. But most of all, love yourself in whatever version you are right now. We are all here for you!

Oh heavens! No! Please do not hate yourself. I just started tracking what I ate on Fatsecret on March 10th. I have 60+ pounds to lose to make it to my FIRST goal of 180. "We" CAN do this! One step at a time. Truly, you are worth it! I used to feel like you until joining this site. Keep with it and in no time, you will feel better. Let me know if you want to chat.
