From DISNEYLAND to LA-LA Land!!!! It has been so hard coming down from the vacation High! On top of that...there was Mother's day and out of town guests!!! Things are finally simmering down around here. Springtime in the Rockies is a mixed bag of goodies....glorious lilacs blooming everywhere and the scent is heavenly! Then next day it is windy and snowing! Gotta love it!
Our trip to California with my daughter's family was everything we could have ever hoped for!!!! When the two younger grand kids wanted to return to the lovely hotel to swim and recharge, my hubby and I were ready as well. I had no problem walking for hours and hours, but hubby's knees were giving him trouble...for me...it was good to get away from the noise! The little ones needed a break from the sensory overload! My son-in-law, daughter and my 10 year old grand-daughter did so many more thrill rides and got to really spend some quality time together! It was a perfect balance. I felt I got to do everything I wanted to do and more!
The best part for me was seeing the joy on the faces of those kids, and seeing them waving during the parades with so much excitement! What a gift for all of us! Disneyland is the happiest place!
