We went on a 2 week vacation. Driving all the way. Went to North Dakota for my brother-in-laws wedding. While traveling we stopped by a Dinosaur museum, the Painted Canyon, Storybook Land, De Smet (Laura Ingalls Wilder home), Mt. Rushmore, the Badlands, and Yellowstone park. 2 vehicles, 16 people (5 adults, 5 teens, 3 kids, a 3 year old and 1 year old). Too much junk food fried and sugary and full of fat. Fast food, candy, donuts, waffles, soda, etc. Not only did I gain weight but I am retaining a lot of fluid. My feet and ankles are so swollen that I can't even fit in my shoes. I know some of the weight gain is the water weight but some of it was fat. Now time to buckle down and get it off again. Next time we do a vacation, I am going to figure out how to keep eating healthy.
