Continue to restrict sugars and emphasize dietary fibre. Have permitted daily caloric intake to increase to 1500 - 1600 range. Swimming 3 - 4 times weekly, 30 to 40 minutes each time, constant backstroke. With a good start (20 lbs in 8 weeks), now looking to maintain 2 - 3 lbs monthly over the next 12 - 24 months. Current wt @ 223 - goal @ 185 (38 to go).
