Is the weight supposed to come off this fast? I'm not complaining, but I was expecting things to be a bit harder in the beginning, what with learning to cook new dishes and adjusting to only eating lunch each day.
Yesterday I walk/jogged the 5 miles that the doctor ordered, and had to stop 3 times to adjust my shoes (laces too loose, heel slipping, laces too tight in the toe region). Today things felt much better, and I was able to increase the amount of time spent jogging as opposed to walking.
Lunch yesterday was monkfish with black olives and baked cherry tomatoes, cooked simply with olive oil, salt & pepper (the olive juice adds the flayva!).
Today's lunch was swordfish with pineapple, red onion, red bell pepper and cilantro salsa. Normally I would have had dessert after the meals, but instead I had unsweetened tea. I will not lie; I feel deprived of my favorite part of the meal.
I am trying hard to make this a lifestyle change. Everyone insists it gets easier, that I will forget about sugar. I sincerely hope this is true. If the scale hadn't dipped, I would have probably given up.
