I finally got the book and made out my grocery list, which I am going to get tomorrow....which means my new diet (and hopefully new life!) starts tomorrow! I am nervous, but I think I will be able to do it. The main thing I'm worried about is that I'm a senior in college which means we tend to go out to the bars often. Already next week I am going to a law school function with free drinks, food, and then a silent auction. If anyone has tips for maintaing the diet during stuff like that, feel free to send them my way, otherwise I guess I'll just have to see how strong my will is! I'll have a full 7 days before that happens which will be nice to have under my belt. Tomorrow is a new start:) Happy Valentine's day to everyone as well:)

The only suggestion I have is to watch portion size and try to do your best to make the healthier choices. When I go somewhere where I have a lot of choices (none good), I just take enough that = 2 to 3 bites, but I can get a bigger variety and not feel like lacking or cheating and I find that really controls the portion part of it for me. Like you said, you'll already have 7 days under your belt before that happens so you will probably do just fine.
