I blanch and freeze them. Eat as many as we can fresh, and share some with friends. Organic, no pesticides, love knowing where my food comes from.

Beautiful! I raise organic too, but spring garden didn't do well this year. Fall garden will if I get them in the ground soon. I freeze mine too.

I spent many hours when my boys were young, sitting on the porch with my mother-in-law, snapping beans or shelling black-eyed peas. She was a dear lady who taught me so much by her example.
