I need to up my calories cause my body is working against me. Having people judge everything I eat isn't helping with this. *sigh*

Who is judgoing you? I hope you don't feel judged by us on FS. I apologize if that is the case. My comments are meant kindly. If people in your home life are judging you, Efff them! You want to be healthy and are doing the best for yourself! Good work!

Great ! I am SO happy to hear that you feel welcomed. I read the other journal where you mentioned your parents. I suppose they watch your food and comment - too bad. Choose healthy foods - lean and low fat protiens, fruits and vegetables - and tell them "thanks for the input but I have a food plan in place!" YOU can do this in spite of negative people. I will say I am lucky because my husband supports me and doesn't sabotage me.

I know the feeling. Take a look at my diet calendar, and you'll see why I'm spending a lot of time listening to people offline giving me unwanted advice and criticism. Thing is, my diet is working, even if it looks horribly unhealthy to people who simply want to 'follow the food pyramid' (and who, for the most part, could stand to lose even more weight than I do :P ) If what you're doing is working, that's what matters. Even short term odd dietary stresses on the body will likely do far less damage to your health than long term fat. So keep on fighting the good fight :)

LOL I know what you mean! My whole fam, besides my mom, is overweight yet they are the most outspoken ones.
