I've had it up to here with diapers! My son is 3 1/2 and tells me when he needs his diaper changed. Clearly he is ready, but i'm not. I don't want to deal with the messes and argue with him because he wants a diaper on. I have to put my foot down and just do this. It is his first night not wearing a diaper. I layed a towel under him. I'm sure he'll wet the bed, but I have to start somewhere. His diapers are to small and theres only 1 more size bigger. *SIGH* My older son never ever wet the bed when I potty trained him. I didn't do that good on my diet today. I went over my 20 carbs clearly and I had a jolly rancher. BAD BAD BAD God Help me with this potty training business not to mention my diet, I need strength.

I completely relate to this! My girlfriend JUST finished potty training her son to stop going #2 in his pants. She was on him day and night..things got messy sometimes, but now its been 10 days and he wears underwear day and night! My girl turned 3 in November..She still wears pullups to bed, because I dont want to get up at night to change her! Yes, Im lazy. I give her an incentive though.."keep your pants dry kid, and Ill put extra chocolate in your milk tomorrow." That usually does the trick! I almost gave up again tonight too. Argghh! Its better to go over on carbs a little than to blow it totally! When it comes right down to it, only God can provide the needed strength to do this!! Lord knows those Thin Mints have been calling me all night! Stay strong girl!

*Banging Head on Wall* My hubby brought home 3 boxes of girlscout cookies. My boy ended up staying dry til midnight (4 hrs.). This morning he's in training pants again.

You girls insist those Girl Scout cookies go in the freezer! That will help you forget about them. Hmmm . . . I believe I have a box in my freezer right now!! Believe it or not, you WILL get to where you don't want that stuff because you feel SOOOO good being smaller.

I'm making a low carb cheesecake with that low carb peanut butter cookie recipe as the crust. I hope it helps to forget about them.

you can get low carb cheesecake if you have a cheesecake factory near you!!!!! they have cheesecake that is 6 net carbs per slice (a big slice) and it is amazing!!!!! so delicious, like finding an oasis in the desert after you've been on atkins for a while. and if you really like jolly ranchers, you can substitute them for sugar free jello. you can buy it premade in the shredded cheese and sour cream section and it tastes so much like the real thing i thought maybe i had picked up the wrong jello.

toddlers can be stressful at times... I just trained my son last year and remember having to bribe him to do so, lol... this too shall pass. I imagine that you were stress eating. It happens.
