I've been slacking on my water intake. Also haven't biked in a while because my knees hurt...not good

I just can't do plain water. I'm too spoiled. It's coffee, tea, or diet cherry cokes here. I'd actually stopped drinking carbonated drinks for about 3 years before I started dieting, so that's the 'bad habit' I've substituted in for overeating, I guess. Are your knees hurting for a specific reason? Osteoarthritis, bursitis, something else that you know about? If you've got an immune response going on, and they're swelling, are you icing them a couple of times a day for 5-10 min? That really seems to help with my tendon, when it complains about the exercycling I've been doing.
