Yesterday i was fixing my daughter her after-school snack and she wanted a bowl of Total whole grain flakes, no milk. Man it looked so good so I gave in and fixed me a teeny tiny bowl with maybe a 1/2 c. of skim milk. Man!! It was so dang good!! you would have thought i was eating a big ole' bowl of my favorite ice cream. I felt a little guilty at first, but ya know, if I can't eat a bowl of whole grain cereal with skim milk and not feel bad, something is wrong. So, i have decided to add in a few good carbs. I have said this before but always go back to phase 1. But I really think to keep my sanity I am going to have atleast one good carb a day and get my body used to it again. So, here I go. Instead of eggs and turkey bacon, I am going to have a bowl of Total. Yummo!
Oh yeah! And NO CHEATING this weekend. I want a loss on Monday for one time in a LONG time!

i think its more than time for you to bring in the odd carb...and yes, thats a good choice :) if your body and mind are on the same track then it won't harm you. although just keep in mind that you don't want to go overboard, b/c thats what i would do too once i hit phase 2...once i started with those carbs there was no stopping *rolls eyes at self* i hope you have a great weekend!

After Phase 1, I allow myself things like that too from time to time. Keep going...
