Ok, so I am not doing good at all. Trying to get it together so that i can eat healthier and live better, but so much of life is causing me to just do the easy thing and grab stuff to eat on the go. I am being pulled in so many dierections and I can't get a staedy grip on anything so everything is slipping away. I just don't know where to start so I can get back on track. I know that there are some things I need to work on, and i am, but do I need to wait until then tpo start trying to lose the weight? And now, eating a fried chicken wing and looking at the sweet potato suffle someone just bought me I feel like I am failing, and being set up to fail. So I'll surpress the urge to eat them and I'll stay focused on drinking my water. SMH and *frowning*...

When I lost weigh previously I started by having the same lunch and breakfast everyday. For me breakfast was tomato juice and a veggie omlette (vary the veggies for a change). Lunch was always a 50/50 spinach and lettuce salad (vary by adding grilled chicken, fish, or additional veggies). I also tried to stay away from creamy dressings. Doing this helped me keep my breakfast and lunch low calorie so I felt good about eating just about anything for dinner. Though sometimes I would have to have smaller dinner portions and add a salad, because of what I cooked. I just thought I'd offer what helped me..maybe parts of this will work for you also. Don't get discouraged, just pick up where you left off and keep on going.

I can relate so much to what you're going through right now! You can fight back and be happier and healthier! Love the two previous comments, too. So encouraging.

Thanks everyone for your comments. @TahchaMonique, I am going to try the omlete(or maybe a fritata) with broccoli, if I slice it it'll last me a few days for breakfast. @certainwoman I'm not mad yet, that's the problem, I'm too sad to be mad I guess, but I am getting encouraged and motivated! @takingcharge I'm glad I am not alone! to all of you, love the names

I can totally understand what you are going through. I have 3 kids and my best friend lives with our family and she has 3 kids. They all have activiites and needs and wants and it is a busy busy household. I am the cook for everyone and I have enjoyed cooking really really yummy food in low calorie versions. I usually make more and portion it right out of the pot into lunches I can take the work. I also do easy breakfasts because I am NOT a morning person and I rarely actually get up and cook. I love the new Thomas's Bagel Thins. I feel like I am eating a whole bagel but it is only 110 calories. I add a tbsp of fat free cream cheese or sometimes I do 1/4 cup of egg substitute on it instead. Makes for a filling breakfast and low calorie. I keep lots of fresh fruit in the house because that is easy to grab as well. I find, for me, a little planning in the evening saves me from losing it the next day. Also, if you are out and need to grab something quick, I have found that walking into a 7-11 or other store like that, there are many good options rather than just hitting a drive thru. Hope it helps, keep your head up and stay strong! You can do it!!
