I did a workout on Friday, not a long one, but it was at least better than just sitting on the couch doing nothing. I bought myself some running pants and a jacket that will help in the cooler weather. I'm not going to make it a routine to run though until it's warmer than 30's, we have had some random days here and there that the weather has been warmer, so I'm going to try to run on those days until spring and do something else also in the meantime. The rest of my weekend was dedicated to cleaning, so no workouts. Hopefully, I can get at least a couple in this week, but we'll see how busy I am getting things ready for the baby shower this weekend.
My eating hasn't been the best, but I'm working on it. I'm trying to get back into the routine of including more veggies into my plan. I was eating at least a serving of veggies for a snack at work, then the holidays and sweets hit the office and that was thrown out the window, but the last few days I've been eating more veggies. It's a start.
The next couple of weeks will be pretty hectic, but it's almost over. A baby shower this weekend, and one more Christmas next weekend, then peace for a few weeks until my son's birthday party. I'm going to need a vacation after all of this! I guess I should look at the positives, I have a great family, we are about to have a new little life in the family, I have a job, and I am fully capable and healthy enough to do workouts when I chose to.
