Good Morning!!! Beautiful day today in upstate NY...lots of snow so far and more coming down. Heading to a soup kitchen church dinner today where hubby is playing music...it will be the first UNcontrolled food environment I have been in since I started this diet 14 days ago. AND...Dave, the kitchen manager, always has the rolling dessert cart with lots of donated goodies that I love..coconut cream pie, chocolate cream pie, cake, coconut cream piiiiieeeeee!!!! OMgosh! Anyway, I read somewhere on a journal that missing a day of induction will cost me 4 days...not sure where I read it, but I like keeping that in my head because NO pie is worth 4 days for me. I am so psyched about my progress and YOUR progress, that I am going to press on to VICTORY. Also, since this is day 14 and technically I COULD move off induction, I am staying with induction. I still have not thoroughly explored all the food options for induction...still have whipping cream to play with...so, induction for me for another 2 weeks then I will re-evaluate. Also, have added in some weight lifting and pushups. I am doing the 100 push up challenge in 6 weeks..what could I have been thinking? LOL..but I am finishing week one and I have not hurt myself or anyone else!!!! I love you all!!

That was my entry - the four-day rule... When those coconut cream piiiieeeees cross your path you just look 'em in the eye and say "I will not eat you here or there, I will not eat you anywhere. I will not eat you with a cat. I will not eat you with a bat. I will not eat you, Sam I am,,,uhh, I mean coco-cream...Go far from me; don't be so mean!" Reminds me of that Seinfeld episode, the soup Nazi - "No Soup For You!" -- we're saying, "No Pie for You!" Love to you and best wishes for your skinny days ahead! Proud of ya

You'll do fantastic...'cause you have the past two weeks to reinforce how great this is working for you! And no pie is worth 4 days, cravings, headaches, nausea, etc...!!! It's not just getting booted out of Ketosis...but the other junk that comes w/ the changes in your food that make it so undesireable to me!

You will do well, as you say no pie is worth giving up you progress so far. You have a great attitude and are doing so well! I loved Evie's rhythm - that will be in MY head all day too. Enjoy your day. We are getting lots of snow here too in Toronto area.

You can do this!!!!! Take some safe foods with you to snack on if need be, or get busy when the cart comes around, helping with dishes or something.
