I told myself I would journal each day just as I logged each day. Both seem to be important when it comes to keeping me consistent and engaged with the process. The stimulant seems to still be helping with the constant shark brain hunger. But not so much for the energy today. It would have been an uphill battle, and can't really be blamed as I am firmly into the second day of a tremendous migraine. Got to love when hormonal flukes migraine day coincides with tornado level storm front triggers. So sluggish is to be expected today.
As far as calories go, my fella threw me a curve ball by making me breakfast. Which is actually a good thing. I am struggling to not over do it and create a too large unstainable calorie goal. The change in format from mfp to here has also been helpful. To open my diary and see what I need to eat in a day with no deficit verses what have is less win or lose oriented. The here is your goal and it turns red and you don't get a post if you miss by a single calorie system wasn't for me. I would get discouraged by the "fail" even when I knew I still had a good deficit for that day. This set up is more of a range, some days are more successful than others but their is not that pass fail outlook. I still plan to swim tonight despite missing work, and being sluggish. Other than that I am taking the rest my body seems to need today and trying (not so successfully) to not feel guilty about that.
