I did better today about logging food than I have been in the last few days. Didn't get it all down, but tomorrow is the start of another week and I know I can do better. My next weigh in will be Wednesday. I hope to have another drop to report then.

Things I need to focus on more:
-Drink more water.
That really helped before when I had almost reached my 5lb mini goal.

-Be more aware of hunger vs impulsiveness.
I just realized this morning that part of what trips me up at breakfast is that I eat something small while I'm waiting for the oatmeal to finish cooking, and then I want to eat/taste something else. I try to stay in control, but the more times I give in and eat something, the harder it is to resist the next impulse.

-Have sermons or my audio bible playing in the background while I do chores.
I was doing better for a while about keeping up with my chores, but than I started slipping and I fell out of the practice of staying on top of things.
Procrastination ->Discouragement -> More Procrastination -> Larger work load. :(
The dishwasher has been out of commission for two weeks now, so I've been quite reluctant to do dishes most days as it takes me a LONG time to do them by hand.. (Thank G-d it should be repaired tomorrow! :) ) (A single machine load's worth of dishes can take about 1 1/2-2hours.) Today though I couldn't avoid it and since there was no one around who'd mind, I played one of my favorite sermon cds and that made the time seem much shorter.

That should help in a number of ways since being productive helps me feel better, being occupied deters boredom eating, and a cleaner house is less depressing to be in (so less consolatory/ feel good eating). :)
