The urge to eat for comfort is really strong right now. I am doing my best to resist, and for now that's working. There's power in knowing that I WANT food but don't NEED it. It's just frustrating to face it.

Good for you! You are the controller of emotions, they do not control you any longer and the more you resist their whining, the more power you will have over them. Think of them as liars and cowards, how they've lead you to unhealthy choices and positions, and you are going to be healthy so they must change too. Keep thinking about how good you'll feel when you get to your goal weight! Not only can you do this, you ARE doing this! Way to go!!
