Journal de Lotus, 16 déc. 07

Sorry I haven't checked in in a while, we have been Christmas shopping ALL DAY LONG. I am so exausted. If stress burns calories then I should have lost 5 pounds just from today. Target was packed in the toy section, Walmart was twice as bad. We had to get groceries too, and I was dizzy and nauseous from being in there so long. I'm not exactly claustrophobic, but I may be a touch Walmartaphobic. I'd say LOL but I'm not joking. I am totally traumatized.
That's what we get for once again waiting until the last minute.
Glad to be home! How was everyone's day? Is our team winning? I am not much of a leader, only losing one pound.
Next week it will be more, I promise!! I am over my TOM and energetic once more. Watch out, ya'll! I am going to ramp up my workouts and do my absolute best on my diet. I am starting level 2 this week, though. I know some people choose to stay on level one indefinitely, but there is a reason I chose South Beach and not Atkins. I love yogurt, fruit, bread, pasta, etc.
I realize I can not go crazy on these things, and I need to limit my portions and be sure everything is whole grain, etc. I pretty much memorized the South beach book. I know what is expected. I just know that I personally will stick with it much better if I take advantage of the flexibility of the plan the way it was designed. I was so happy to buy some Golden delicious apples today. They look so good. I am as excited about starting level two as I was about starting this diet in the first place. I am going to work hard on boosting my metabolism through exercise, frequent HEALTHY snacking(this one needs a little work), and drinking loads of water. I am sure I can pull off at least a 2 pound loss next week. That is my goal, 139 sounds great!

Yeah I only drink a shot of spirit with diet soda and a slice of lime. Then it is only 50ish cals a glass (100ish if a double). I think its because I dance so much, and walk about to different pubs, that I probably burn more than I consume in a night!
