Hi! I am 37 yrs. old, married, and live in Iowa. I have always been extremely weight-conscious, due to coming from an obese family. I've always had an average weight of 140 lbs. I never had an issue with my weight, until I was 27 yrs. old and went through what I refer to as an "Anna Nicole Smith" depression. During this 1 yr. period, I went from weighing 140, to weighing 220 lbs. WOW, what a wake up call! Amazingly, it only took me 9 months of dieting and exercise to get back to my former weight of 140. After that experience I became certified as a fitness instructor and personal trainer and have worked and trained and studied that field for several years and counting. I am currently a liscensed ZUMBA fitness instructor.

I no longer weigh 140 lbs. Since I discovered this FatSecret site about 3 months ago, I have lost an additional 16 lbs. and now currently weigh 129. Thanks to being able to easily account for all of my calories on this site, I am thinner than I've ever been before! I am now at the weight I have always dreamed about being!

My journey is far from over. I am always researching, studying, and learning new things; and I am constantly getting knowledge, motivation, and inspiration from the other members on FatSecret. I am also always eager to help everyone else achieve thier weight loss goals.
