Intermittent fasting. What are your thoughts? In your opinion is it beneficial? If you intermittent fast what is your method? Someone I know told me they literally eat only candy for breakfast and then that they "intermittent fast" for the rest of the day. I was horrified. They told me they get all their calories from sugar. I said, "Please don't do that. That's not healthy. And I don't think that's what intermittent fasting is."
Someone else advised me to intermittent fast for "a whole day once every month, at least" to "reset your metabolism."
However a nutritionist I know advised against fasting because she believes it teaches you to ignore when your body needs food. Frankly, my body needs to learn the difference between when it needs food, when it likes the way something tastes, when it's thirsty, and when it's just bored.
**I want input and opinions, I don't mind humor, but please be kind and respectful to each other in the comments.

Whole wheat sourdough turned out great! Having fresh bread does make it hard to stick to my calories but it's better than chips and candy!
