SO, go figure. I'm down 2 lbs but most of my measurements went slightly up! Glad I don't base progress only on numbers! I feel good, look much better and have tons of energy I need to live my daily life.
Today, I took it a bit easier with cals and carbs for sure! At the time of this record, I have eaten breakfast and lunch and some snacks but not dinner yet and not sure if I will even have a full dinner since it's almost 7 PM and I don't like eating much before bedtime.
So there you have it. Down 2 of the 5 lbs for the challenge. YAY! Onward we go!

Scale is down, measurements up a bit. Ate more carefully today but may eat a little more in a while if I want to.
Still cut down on most animal body products cept for fish.
Feeling good. Looking better!

ok now I'm done eating...yeah, finally, I know. right? This day was like a constant binge fest for me! Went grocery shopping and got all kinds of healthy foods that I just had to SAMPLE.
Tomorrow, when I do my measurements and weight, I'm sure it will be very interesting. Let's see if high-carb flexitarian will work for my weight goal accomplishment or does the meat and cheese laden keto win out? We shall see!

Today was grocery shopping day! We did not buy any animal bodies to eat at all. I did have salmon left from the last time I shopped but I rarely intend on eating it.
I look forward to better health based on my new flexitarian eating plans.
I will weigh in tomorrow and share my measurements.
Even if I don't lose weight during this challenge, as far as I'm concerned, I WIN! i am having a blast and I have learned new ways to fitness success!
Plus, all of you on here have been terrific!

Day 3 of 5 lbs/2 week challenge and nope, not losing weight so far but learning a LOT about improving food choices and definitely more focused on fitness than in the past!
Today, going to meet the dr who will be performing my hysteroscopy/d & c soon. Very nervous about the situation and about anesthesia. I'm sure I will be fine and I especially want to rule out any serious illness or abnormal findings.
Will update how the appt goes later when I get home from it.
Appreciate all prayers!
PS figured out my RDI accurately and apparently there were days I wasn't eating enough according to it, but, since I"m carb cycling I'm not sure how much that matters. We will see in evidence of weight loss by the end of the 2 weeks I'm sure. By the way, I have lost inches but that's not on here as a weight loss proof is it? For this challenge I mean?
