Oh Boy, Up a tad more than I like at Christmas. I will probably go off the grid again for another week and try to do what is best. Maybe, there will be lots of beer involved.
We have an event planned for tonight, one this weekend, and then New Years Eve festivities.
Fear not cycling fans. I have been riding! So my legs are still in shape for the most part. The weather is much crappier and the urge to go outside is less though. Experiencing much more soreness the last few weeks, not sure why. Its either my cycling partner and I are setting too high of a pace, or the cooler weather, or last but not least, the extra 10-15 lbs I am riding with.

Up a tiny bit. Must have been the cookies!
We had a big ol' box of Mrs. Fields cookies get delivered to our office for a coworker, who broke em out and of course I had a couple (packs). Lunch was a good curry and beef bowl with rice. The asian place here on base, usually has very poor food, but they have been serving Indian food and I must say it is much better then their "Chinese" food. Hopefully that will continue.
So I rode my bike and it was great. Finally affixed the fenders and they worked good. It rained yesterday so it was wet out, and probably the messiest I have ridden in. The bike is covered with mud, and I had much less than usual. I could tell the fenders did their job, less sand and rocks bouncing off me. And they are pretty easy to put on/off.
So, today is my last day before the weekend, and I am staring down a weekend-o-weight gain. lol. No worries. Bike Ride tomorrow AM (LONG!), probably about 30-35 miles.
Mongolian for lunch (Not good), reasonable dinner.
Friday Ride, Pig out breakfast. Camp out at night, with lots of beer. Its clear this cheat day will go into Saturday, and I may miss that bike ride. We'll see.

Down a teeny bit today, better than being up!
Cereal was delish.
Bike ride last night was sloppy from the rain. I was pelted with dirty mud. Oh well, makes you feel like your really mountain biking and not riding down sidewalks and lanes! Have flat tire issues on the rear I need to check out.
All gifts are done for Christmas. I think, maybe a few odds and ends for DS.
Work is busy, and cutting into my study time for CLEP Credits! Damnit.
Party Friday in the desert. Camping in the night time, where much food and festivities will happen. We have having kabobs, and planning on hobo meals (Stuffed wrapped in foil and tossed into fire) with veggies in it. So our intentions right now are good. Well, Maybe except for that case of beer and the chips, lol.

3 lb loss. I thought I had lost control of this beast! All good today!
I have plans, and motivation.
And I did not really eat very well yesterday. Close to RDI + PB & Banana Sandwich.
I think last weeks, drink, ride, indulge did not work out very well. I will stick to ride 1st, and indulge later.
My new riding partner is getting all motivated and chatty about our Friday long rides. It is cool because he has the motivation I had last summer, so it will kick me up a notch again too. The weather looks good for Friday AM too.
Looking forward to the holidays, and keeping on track "as best I can". Thats all we can do right?
