I've been having such a hard time with my calorie intake. Friday and Saturday were mostly alcohol more than eating poorly, but regardless it put me over. Then Sunday I started in on the junk food, and I've been on a downward spiral ever since. I've had a serious case of the munchies and I've been wanting to eat everything sweet I can get my hands on.
And today, though I've still got about 300 calories left to at least be within my RDI, I've eaten complete crap with the calories I've used so far. I feel sluggish, I haven't been sleeping well and I'm completely unfocused.
Cross your fingers for me to finish out the day within and be back on track.

Happy to see the scale move downward, even if it is only slightly.
I really need to incorporate some exercise into my program, and I have been meaning to, but with my classes/homework load, and working FT, plus all the things that go along with kiddos and a home, I just really don't want to take on too much. I know myself and, if it's gets to be too much, that's usually a recipe for me going off the rails altogether.

Do any of you guys ever feel stressed out from not feeling hungry? I know that sounds weird, but sometimes, like today, I ate my meals like normal, but since I've eaten supper right around 5pm, I haven't felt hungry yet. GAH!!!! I'm sure it's from my body acclimating to eating less, but honestly it sometimes gives me anxiety. I think it's because I've focused on 'live to eat' for so long, I'm used to shoveling it in out of habit.
Now I'm focusing instead on eating because I'm hungry. It must probably be a little like quitting smoking... That's about the extent of my depth tonight. LOL. Insightful, right?
Happy Hump Day everyone!!!! That means I'm halfway(ish) to my next weigh in. Woot!

After my fantastic loss on Saturday, I got a little carried away at Applebee's on Saturday night. Their brew pub pretzels and beer cheese dip are a family favorite, and I definitely over ate. Then Sunday I inhaled a gigantic bowl of ice cream with chocolate syrup and peanut M & M's.
Not only did I have a major case of shame for my straight-up gluttony, but I've been dealing with some pretty uncomfortable stomach issues ever since. Needless to say, it's been easy to stay on track today.
Hope everyone had a nice weekend. We had a beautiful first day of Spring here in South Dakota!

Holy buckets!!!! This was not so expected this morning. I had mentally prepared myself for either no change or gain. Happy dance.
I cut back on my calories each day, starting on Tuesday due to starting the steroids that day. It actually wasn't that hard to come in under.
Now I'm sitting at Starbucks trying to get started on an exegesis of the Book of Hosea for one of my spring classes I'm taking. UGH. This could bring on a little stress eating!!!!
Happy Saturday all. The sun is shining here (finally!!) and most of the snow has melted. ENJOY!!!
