Here I go again. I am trying to get on track. I am very frustrated with myself. I think I need to set smaller goals to keep me doing what I need to do. Day by Day, week by week? I have no idea. I just really need to figure it out.

Thank you! I need to stick with my plan. Consistency is my main problem, or I fall off track and stay that way for weeks.

be encouraged. stay strong and don't give up or in! make a plan that works for you. if it doesn't work then change it up until you see results. don't beat yourself up!

It starts with one pound. Then it continues if you follow a diet plan and move a little. Trust me, but you have to follow a diet plan.

Come on and grab my hand and we will go together where you can climb on board to the back on track train...I know that depot well and I ve been there many many times...so just take the steps with me towards the depot and you will be back on track in no time....hugs to you ;)

Jbatc, you've got a lot on your plate besides food! It's easy to let the food stuff slide when you're caring for a family and working on your dissertation. I agree with the other comments and want to add: Prepare in quantity and pack in serving sizes simple foods that you can grab on the go. My go-to today was hard-boiled eggs. Cold, boneless, sauted-in-butter chicken breast strips dipped in mayonnaise are easy. Chicken drumsticks with the skin on can be good hot or cold, too -- although I'm not crazy about cold chicken skin! You can zap a cooked hamburger or two in the microwave. I like full-fat Russian dressing on mine. Be encouraged! Don't try to lose all your weight in one day "in your mind." It'll make you crazy!

I hear you. I set some goals for myself for the year, but I like the smaller goals. I keep a daily goal to eat so many calories, or have a certain amount of protein, or even to get a particular workout done. Being able to check some small things off your list each day can help keep motivated, and put you in the mindset the next day that you can achieve your goals. You've got this!!
