I got back on track last week. I did lose enough weight to get back to where I was at my last weigh-in. I did not weigh-in last week, probably because I was ashamed I had gained 10 pounds back. I have problems when I have to travel and don't necessarily have the option to cook for myself. If I'm with family, I can do this. Work trips and conferences where food is purchased for you, has been my problem. It's almost easier to do intermittent fasting. I will have to keep that in mind if I'm still in this phase of the Keto diet next time I travel.
I did feel kind of rude not eating at my mother-in-law's cousin's birthday party this past Friday, but everything was breaded and carb loaded. I ate when we got home. I'm sure my MIL did not understand, but I'm not really worried about that. I know I have to keep up with this. I have to have a hernia repaired, and I need to lose at least 50 pounds. I'd like to have the surgery at the beginning of the year, but that is a lot to lose before then. I just need to focus on what I need to do to keep losing.
