I gained this week, but TOM is here....Still trying to figure out what I am missing in my diet. I am maintaining, but not losing. This is frustrating.

Well let's see :) you seem to be doing well with total calories and exercise, but your diet seems to be quite high in sugar and low in protein. With all the exercise you're doing, I would try to get at least 25% of your calories from protein. Then I would reduce the sweetness. You can ween yourself off the sugar and actually change your taste preferences eventually. Instead of sugar, try to get your carbs from whole grains and veggies. I try to limit my sugars to fruits only. Occasionally, I have a sweet treat, but rarely. That's about all I can think of. I'm sure you will find your way just don't give up. Do you feel different or are your clothes looser?

Here's some quick easy ways to get increased protein into your diet. And I do agree, getting increased protein helps your muscles benefit more from your workouts, which means those muscles can then burn more calories even after the workout is done. For breakfast, consider Kashi Go Lean cereal, it has 13 gm of protein per a 1 cup serving. At lunch time, make some tuna salad, so you can use reduced fat mayo. Tons of protein there. At nighttime, if I still need a protein booster, I keep fat free cottage cheese around. I mix in some sugar free jelly and yum. Also, roasted/salted soy nuts are a great salty snack that gets some protein in (certainly more than potato chips). Good luck!

see this is what is happening i already lost a good amount of weight before i started this and was low as 134 which was awesome but the second i relax a little 10 pounds shows up right on my ass. im maintaining the 140's but 120s is where i should be. do you have any tips how to get rid of these extra 10 to 20 pounds that just wont budge
