I couldn't believe that I stayed the same weight over the weekend. I did small spurges so as not to make a fuss over what was available for food. Breakfast and lunch I know did well. I didn't eat dessert and I did try to pick and choose well at dinner even when there were no good choices. My carb level was up at dinner as options were less or nonexistent. I will see how this week goes back on my own eating plan. Determination to be a part of a family activity where I was not in charge of food being served was a challenge but apparently I still chose as well as I could with such limitations. Things happen we cannot control and I guess if you have a different eating style than those you are with, at times you have to be extra diligent and not a party pooper.

I know what you mean about having to eat what others prepare. I always struggle when we go away and the scale usually reflects this, usually badly. Sometimes you just have to make the best of a bad job.
