Have been hovering between 176-177kg for the most part of last week, most likely due to retaining water through excessive carb consumption i.e. soft drinks and fast food. Will look at restricting my fast food again to one night a week and try to steer clear of soft drinks for the most part, maybe one or two cans a week. Looking to bring my steps up to 10k a day in the evenings plus what I manage to get up to at work during the day.

First thing I did when changing my diet was eliminating sugary drinks. you shouldn't be drinking any at all. I haven't had normal coke since January last year. It's pretty hard let's be honest (sugar is like crack cocaine) but you get used to it and find other things to enjoy and even water starts tasting better. coffee and tea becomes more enjoyable over time without sugar (I reduced my sugar bit by bit over time with tea and coffee). Good luck!

Hey, thanks guys! I did initially start the year out okay going 50 days without soft drink and substituting it with flavoured green tea sachets (0 sugar) but had a party a couple weeks back and thought I'd crack a can open and just kinda fell into old habits. But I am slowly getting back into the gist of things with my diet and weeding out anything that I shouldn't be consuming and or that makes me feel bloated. I agree with water tasting sweeter when you haven't had sugar for over a month though 😆. Cheers again for advice 🙂.
