I keep eating right, exercising more, and gaining weight. This sucks!

Are you losing inches? Do your clothes feel more loose? Sometimes we can lose fat/inches and go down in sizes, but don't necessarily see it on the scale right away. Exercise can sometimes show as a temporary gain on the scale when the muscles retain water to heal (they get tears which leads to muscles soreness). Watch your sodium levels, especially if you are eating processed foods. Drink your water to help flush out the sodium. Get in lots of fresh foods such as fruit and veggies. Sometimes "what" you are eating is as important as "how much". Good luck!

I've never taken any body measurements so I can't really tell if I'm losing inches. I had never thought about the sodium thing, but actually I've eaten out several times in the past week and even though I tried to watch my calories, I feel like most restaurants use tons more salt on food than I ever would at home, so that could be the culprit. Its so easy to get frustrated sometimes so I really appreciate the encouragement and suggestions!
