Holding steady at 243 it seems. My check-up with the doctor is in 7 days. I am hoping to kick it into gear this week and over the weekend with exercise and get back down to 241 before then. I'm not really stressing over it because I know I've done well and I'm ready for the next step. I know my husband will be more comfortable with larger food changes once I've seen the doctor again.

So, looking forward to being able to walk to work for the next four days. I'm going to be in training at the state police headquarters that is very close to my house. It should be a nice walk there and back. The weather is chilly (mid 40s this morning before daylight), but it shouldn't be too bad.

Wonderful walk to and from work. My shins were very tight on the walk home (probably from the run across the 5 lane road), but after a little strectching I felt good enough to walk the dogs for ~40 minutes. I had hoped to go a full hour, but I hadn't tied my shoes tight enough so after 40 minutes my feet were hurting. Tomorrow I think I will tough it out with a lighter coat in the morning so I don't have to carry a big one around all day.
