I've been a little mum lately, b/c I always talk about diets, but then when it comes to actually switching I change my mind, lol. I have successfully completed 3 whole days on the HCG Diet that I've been toying with since January. The loading days are always the easiest (since you can eat what you want), but when it comes to the 500calories a day, I tend to change my mind since I've gotten good results without having to do a very low calorie diet. The first day wasn't as bad as the second, but it's amazing how much dieting is a mental game. I'm so used to being on low carb diets where I don't count calories, and apparently I snack(ed) a lot because I always wanted something even though I wasn't hungry. It's surprising because I'm never really hungry and at this point, I'm actually looking forward to my salad tonight. The plan is to remain on this protocal until April 18th, or maybe longer. I really want to feel the most confident I can in a swimsuit around the BeachBody people who are in way better shape then me. I'm very proud of my results, and I'm definitely not trying to compare myself to other people, I just know that my eating has been off the wall for a while, so its good to shock my body back into clean eating. I've added in my Shakeology as well so that helps with the variety as this diet can be very mundane. I don't eat seafood (allergic to shellfish) so that limits my protein choices, nor do I eat veal, so I've been eating chicken breasts (on salads) for the past few days. I'm such a diet guinea pig so this is fun for me. My only fear is it's going to be great out this weekend so I made a date with my bff/college roommate to spend the day together in the city on Saturday and she's one of those people that can eat anything and still be bikini ready. There's also a bday party tomorrow night that I said I would attend so it should be interesting planning, but I'm getting good results, and I'm obsessed with being under 166 (can't seem to break that #) so I'm committed! :)
