I have been on this Diet before, and lost 20lbs. in two weeks, but i got excited when i had a cheat meal and didn't gain, then one more, then another, and next thing i knew, i was off the diet and gaining weight again..
I was back where i started when i thought I would try again. so far I have lost almost 40lbs, and working hard on maintaining the Diet, until I am ready to ween myself back to a stable carb amount to maintain. to help me keep sane, I allow a cheat meal (only the one meal/sitting) per week, and give myself extra 'high-fives's if i push the week longer.
I have also been trying to change my thinking to, "its a way of Life, not a Diet" and that helps.
