Merciful hour! Friday already and not a child in the house washed! And I am always off line over the Weekend (stricly family 'doing' time) so time to nip in to wish everyone well and state my aims for the week ahead.

Objective number one is to NOT to breakdown over the weekend as before...so I'm gonna stop and shop on the way home and make a big no carb snack tub (for the empty moments).

The only other personal aim is to stay in ketosis and try to do as well as everyone else on their Induction. Not lookin' at anyone in particular but ye all know who you are... Am looking forward to finishing the plan for my second born (Patrick 10)as he will be joining us next week on his own age appropriate kinda plan for healthier and better eating..

Then I'll weigh on Sunday night and post it on Monday morning..(wonder if it will be another week of more or less staying the same or loosing just the one lb... we'll see.) Am gonna start posting a food diary next week too..

There! thats me all 'planned' out.

Q.What did I ever do without this place?? A. Nothing much

Have a brilliant weekend troopers...

Smiles... so its day two of the proper stuff...day two of doing it strictly by the book. For the past two weeks I was only "alright" at keeping track and maintaining focus...but now its total attention and I love that. And sure how could ya NOT get focussed when there is so much buzz and energy going on with the inductees and so many like minded people for company on this oul road that we tred... isin't that right Andee!

I used Tiernans (my eight year old)ketosis monitor last night (he was diagnosed with type one diabetes last month and has these electronic blood sugar and ketosis monitors) anyway my ketosis reading was 0.1 - *coughs* does anyone know what that means!!!?? (I suppose that I COULD go and read the manual... but that would mean having to use my brain! the pain of it!!).

Have been having serious talks at home about our eating lifestyle and have been taking advice and gaining loads of information in preparation for a family shift away from what I now know are just not good eating habits... I have 3 boys, two stick insects and one gentle giant all active all sporty but thin or not..the white stuff needs to go... The information and articles that I have read this week have been amazingly informative...(thank you sara *s*)

Now!!! wheres me bottle of water so I can take another swallow and pretend (once again) that I'm a budding Charlie Altas!!!

Well I'm delighted really to have lost anything at all because all I was really trying to do this past week was to steady the ship and climb back on board the Atkins ship - This week I'm really gonna study all the recipe hints here and find ways to beat the bordom factor.

The one thing that I was steadfast on this past week was the walking, one before work and one at lunch time. Two 4mph 2 mile walks.. not huge but enough to get me going.. If I can just get organized so that I don't encounter any 'emergency situations' then all will be grand.

My life saver over the weekend is that recipe that I saw here once where ya mix the cream cheese with sugarfree Jello/jelly (I add mixed spices and nugmeg and ginger and an egg) - it provides a gorgeous sweet treat but is also really filling - especially with 6 donuts!!! (that last bit was just a cruel cruel joke on meself).

So Davy boy, week two starts - whatya gonna make of it!
