Haha Im down just in time to go to Das German Fest tomorrow in WI.
I went to the gym last night and lifted some weights. I tried to keep it a little lower than Im used to since I havent been there in so long but Im already sore. I also got out to the garden and picked some stuff, and took my kid driving. Im not a morning workout person so finding balance in getting everything in after work is hard for me. I think Ill try to schedule my weeknights next week and see if that makes a difference.

Goals arent going well. Had an interesting Therapy session and its really been on my mind all week. Like - I kinda feel like I got knocked back a notch to process. Shouldnt affect my goals but it is. I bought a new journal to start getting some thoughts out. Still trying to log and get in steps so its not all gone to shit.

This is from a weekend of fair food and driving (in my new car). I ate the food I wanted, didnt feel guilty about it, and went to the store last night to stock up on things to make this week a bit healthier.
My goals this week are:
Log at least 3 days worth of food
Drink at 2 of my fancy cups worth of water (so 80oz)
Make it to the gym 2x
Hit my step goal 5/7 days this week (and I didnt hit it yesterday so I need to get on it).

Welp. Moving on.
Last night I wanted to buy skittles because it was a big bag and it was marked down and I just really have a bad candy habit. But I didnt. Thats tiny- but it tells me that Im starting to think about my goals again. Its hard to get back to that, and theres always the looming - "even if I do it now, Ill always slip back". I just want to feel good, and I dont know why I keep self sabotaging myself.

This weight gain is solely due to stress.
I had so much anxiety yesterday that I felt like my skin was literally buzzing. I had my mid-year review and then I went to test drive a couple of cars. Review was fine, and my boss let me take the rest of the day so I could figure out the car stuff. Went in with a price range, and an idea of what I was looking for, left with something totally different (but nicer) and stayed in my range. Its at the max of what I could afford for monthly payments, but still affordable.
When I got home, my family told me that a circuit popped and they couldn't get it to turn back on. I cant get it either - so more stress there. Nothing like worrying about house maintenance the same day I bought a car.
And finally, I have a mouse. And my dog is convinced that she's going to catch it so she jumped off the bed several times in the middle of the night BUT she cant jump back up. So again, I laid there, trying not to feel guilty about the car, worrying about everything else... and getting up to help my dog jump back on the bed. This is, at least, an easy fix. Hopefully I can actually sleep tonight.
So yeah, this 2 pounds is just stress.
