Oh my goodness! have such a failed week! Bunking my training - only because my body has decided Time-Out! and those sugar and carbs are just soooooo yummy! 1 week away from first Sprint Triathlon and I am having nightmares! This long weekend will be brick after brick after brick.

Official day 1 of the Lifestyle Challenge - new nutrition plan, new weight training programme and my triathlon training.
So much food! Going to be constantly grazing!

oooooo the excitement is building.
So I haven't really had a bad month since the end of my last challenge. Hovering around that 1-2kg gain, only because I'm enjoying my carbs too much in the mornings for breakfast (I call it milk tart protein shake: 1 scoop vanilla usn meal replacement, 1 banana, 4 egg whites, a little milk - blend and add some cinnamon - Yummy is not the word! - evening pudding I do a quarter scoop of usn with hot water and sprinkle some cinnamon - even yummier!)
Anyways, back to my journal entry. June is an exciting month for me. I have races lined up for just about every weekend. 10km Run (going to attempt to run it all the way for the first time); My very first Triathlon event (Sprint: 600m Swim; 20km Bike; 5km Run) and then to redeem myself of not being the "big girl" anymore and not crawl across the finish line, taking on the Turbovite Jump City Challenge - 10km Obstacle Course.
At the same time I am embarking on a new nutrition plan and workout programme. 4 weeks, and I will be at my first fittest level. Then enjoy winter with the reduced training program for maintenance before the next Triathlon season begins.
The 2 year journey to IronGirl / IronMan 2017 has officially begun.
Not only will I be a skinnier me, but a very healthy and fit one too!

Oh my goodness, what a week. It's been exam week, and what do i turn to - Sugar! It's been a really bad week, and the examination did not make the experience any better. So did half-effort gymming this week, and well, just stuffed my face with every muffin, doughnut, jelly beans, bread - you name it, I ate it.
But back on the wagon I will be from tomorrow. I have 4 weeks until my first sprint triathlon and my training and meal prepping is underway. Going to work on my program tonight and get it ready for shopping tomorrow. Will be back in the pool and on the bicycle tomorrow, and 20km East Coast Radio Big Walk on Sunday. Then Monday is D-Day for training and nutrition.
Have to make my first Triathlon a worthwhile experience of training and reward. That medal is apparently amazing, and I want it!
